Monolithic Concrete Pontoons
The MonoDock™ name and design are inspired by the principle of monolithic structure.
A monolithic structure is one that is made out of a single, large, and cohesive mass of material, typically without the use of joints or seams. The term "monolithic" originates from the Greek words "monos" (meaning "single") and "lithos" (meaning "stone"). Monolithic structures - like the Great Sphinx of Giza and the Easter Island statues - are some of the most durable in history.

Today, "monolithic" refers to structures like buildings or bridges that are cast as a single piece, typically using concrete. This approach offers enhanced durability and structural integrity because there are fewer weak points or potential failure points.
